Furniture, tools, kitchen, decor — the stuff people actually fight over, priced to move. We open another load at 8 AM every single day, and when it’s over none of it goes back into storage.
Thank you to everyone who came, gave, or sent somebody our way. Every dollar goes to a 501(c)(3).
Four days, new tables every morning, and a prize nobody saw until they showed up. It's done. Gifts to The Right Thing in Recovery are welcome year round.
We have been holding on to a great deal more than we have room for — furniture, tools, kitchen, decor, seasonal, kids, sporting goods. Good things, most of it barely used.
Every morning of the sale we open another load and fill the tables again. Friday's tables and Monday's tables are not the same tables. When it is gone, it is gone — none of it is going back into storage.
Come Friday for first pick. Come Monday for the prices. Plenty of people do both.
Somebody walks out of treatment on a Friday afternoon with a trash bag of clothes and nowhere to be. Monday is where it comes apart — no bed, no laundry, no food in the fridge, nobody who notices they stopped showing up.
We're the Monday. Seven houses, seventy beds, and a Clubhouse with the lights on.
That runs on rent money and detergent money, not grant cycles. So this weekend we're selling a couch. And a drill. And somebody's old dining set. Come take it off our hands.
Nobody is going to ask why you came, put you on a list, or follow up. Turn up, look around, leave. That already helped.
Start with the smallest yes. We got ya.
Four days, Labor Day weekend. Park on the street and follow the tables.
Location: 7437 S Ramanee Dr, Midvale, UT 84047
Hours: 8 AM until you stop coming — or we melt.
Same all four days. Earlier is better.
We do not list items online — it changes too fast to keep up with. Come see what is on the tables.
Entries closed Monday, September 7, 2026 at the end of the sale. The winner is being contacted using the information they gave us. We'll post the name here as soon as they've been reached.
Thank you to everyone who entered. Entry was free the whole way through — nobody bought anything, nobody donated anything, and sharing the link never changed a single person's odds. That was the point.
The full official rules are published below and remain unchanged. Questions about the drawing: patrol@nextrighthing.com.
The sale is over, but none of these closed with it. They all land just as hard in October as they did on Labor Day.
Cash gifts go to The Right Thing in Recovery, our 501(c)(3). You receive no goods in return, so every dollar is deductible.

Cash is not the only way. These are real, current gaps in the houses — if you have one sitting unused, or can help us buy one, it goes straight to work.
Donating goods? See what we need and what we can't take, or call (385) 371-4515 before you load it up. We issue your in-kind receipt with our EIN for your taxes.
We also take good, clean household items for the sale itself right up through Sunday — call first.
2nd Annual End-of-Summer Yard Sale Prize Drawing — sponsored by The Right Thing in Recovery, a Utah 501(c)(3), EIN 93-4316358.
Purchases at the yard sale are not tax-deductible, because you receive goods in exchange. Cash gifts and donated goods are deductible and receipted separately.
